Real Neat Blogger Award Nomination

I am so fortunate to be nominated by Carlo Tuzon from weheartravelling.com and I like to take this opportunity to thank him for this nomination. Carlo’s blog is about being able to see a piece of the world one place at a time and sharing his adventures of visiting new places, meeting new people and discovering new things. Pop over to his blog and read more about his journey!

The ‘rules’ of the Real Neat Blog Award are: (feel free not to act upon them if you don’t have time; or don’t accept awards; etc.):

  1. Put the award logo on your blog.
  2. Answer 7 questions asked by the person who nominated you.
  3. Thank the people who nominated you, linking to their blogs.
  4. Nominate any number of bloggers you like, linking to their blogs.
  5. Let them know you nominated them (by commenting on their blog etc.)

The following are the questions from Carlo. You can check out his blog post Nominated for the “Real Neat Blogger Award” to read about his nomination.

1) What motivated you to engage in blogging?

  • I have been doing the planning and researching for our trip for a few years and one day my hubby just out of the blue said I could share my travel experiences with other like-minded people or people who are researching for places to visit like I do. So I decided to do it to share information with others.

2) What is/are your goals for your blog a year from now?

  • My goal is to write more great content and help others to explore new places.

3) If you are given another chance to start a new blog, what would you be writing about?

  • If I would start a new blog, it would still be a travel and food blog because these are my passions and I would like to share my experiences with like-minded people or helping others to explore the unknown places or eateries.

4) What measures do you take in order to attract more traffic?

  • I follow blogs, comment and like blog posts I find interesting, and engage in social media such as Pinterest and Instagram.

5) If you were given a chance to give ONLY ONE advice to new bloggers, what would it be?

  • Persevere and don’t give up!

6) Which one weighs more in your opinion- blog comments OR blog likes? Why?

  • Actually, I would say both because I believe some people prefer to engage by commenting on posts and some liking their posts. Just like a performance, some audiences like to give shoutout but others prefer to give a round of applause to show their appreciation.

7) If you were to give your blog another name- what would it be?

  • Hmm… this is a tough one. It took me a long time to come up with Goldilocks Lifestyle Travel. So maybe “Right In The Middle” or “Middle Road” or “Everything In Between”.

My nominees for this award are:-
